Could you make this image look like an architectural coloured sketch? It should have lush green trees, the houses should be embedded in a green landscape, not overpower the image. It should give off sub-urban feeling. Add people walking on the path along both sides of the water as pedestrians. If possible add some birds, insects and wildflowers here and there to show a nature inclusive green housing area. Make a nice soft light that casts beautiful shadows as it passes through the leaves.
